Welcome to the Metropolitan Business &
Professional Women (BPW) Web site!
Metropolitan BPW is a professional organization dedicated to building women leaders in the greater Charlotte community.
We advocate for working women by building professional, political and personal leaders in a supportive environment. Membership in BPW encourages women to develop their leadership abilities through networking, public speaking and leadership roles. Belonging to BPW helps women advance their careers and develop their hidden talents.
Our group has a monthly lunch meeting with an informative program. We meet the third Wednesday of each month at The Capital Grille, IJL Financial Center, 201 North Tryon Street in uptown Charlotte. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at noon. The meetings provide a great opportunity for women from various professions to network with each other. Each meeting includes a speaker on a topic relevant to personal and/or professional development for women.
We also offer additional networking and professional development through "BPW After Five" events.
