2007 “Champagne for Scholarships” Metropolitan BPW Annual Auction was a live and silent auction which served as the primary fund raiser to support Metropolitan BPW's philanthropic activity to provide academic scholarships for women in the Charlotte community. Proceeds from this auction were used to award Ruth Moss Easterling Scholarships to undergraduate students in the Charlotte Mecklenburg community, as well as to support operating costs for our local MBPW Chapter.

Special Thank You: The event was held on Friday, November 2nd at SMS Catering.  We had over 100 persons in attendance, and raised substantial funds for our scholarship.  Thank you to everyone who attend, donated their time and money, and businesses who donated goods and serivce for the auction.  Special thank you to the following sponsors: 

A gorgeous diamond ring is our raffle ticket item this year, donated to us by the upscale Donald Haack Diamonds, Inc. in South Park. 

A $3,300.00 (retail value) 18 karat white gold with seven princess-cut diamonds and 30 round-brilliant diamonds (total carat weight 1.74ct) was raffled off at the MBPW 2007 Annual Auction, with 100% proceeds from tickets sold going directly to Metropolitan Business & Professional Women’s scholarship fund.
