Scholarships & Other Philanthropy:

Metropolitan BPW contributes to the Charlotte community in several ways. Our primary philanthropic activity is to provide scholarships for women pursuing a business or professional career. In honor of our founding member, Ruth Moss Easterling, scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduate students from various educational institutions. Contact the Scholarship committee for details and applications.

Additionally, Metropolitan contributes to our state federation to support the North Carolina scholarship program.

We also make contributions to the Battered Women's Shelter, Operation Christmas Child and The Salvation Army Women's Shelter.
